Wanted to show the pop n swap feature. The parts swap easily now. I think we have the plastic perfected. See video on Facebook post.

Still looking into the neck issue and talking to the factory. Here’s some more pics I took tonight.
Still working through checking all the parts. I’ll post some more pictures tomorrow. The only issue I’m concerned with right now is the neck. On a standard joe you can push the neck forward to have the head look down and the neck will stay in that position. For some reason when you push these necks forward they want to spring back to the upright position. I haven’t figured out what is causing this. The factory will be coming back from Chinese New Year and I’m going to ask them what they think. On a good note the head is on a ball socket and if you want the head to push down you can just push the head down on the neck. See video on the facebook post.
The hands had issues holding some of the weapons. This was one of those things where everything fits in the 3-d models, but didn’t fit well on the samples. I had all of the open hand molds remade for every figure. It’s also nice to be able to rotate the hands and feet to pose the figures. The backpack fits well now and the swords fit too. I love the way this turned out.
Here’s the secret feature of the strike force line. The hands, feet, and heads are easily removable.
The paint apps are really smooth and look just like the samples we sent
I’m not great at posing figures so please forgive me. I’ll be testing all the final samples over the next few days and posting pictures as I go. The Factory has polished all the molds and parts are looking really slick and smooth. The details are really popping now. We finally nailed down the plastic hardness on these I think. The heads, hands, and feet swap out easily like we wanted them too. I’ll also take some videos this weekend.
After a serious problem with Fedex who lost an important box from China, hopefully that will arrive soon, I have paint samples and engineering samples in hand. The figures look amazing. Like I can’t believe 2 action figures fans with day jobs can put something out with this kind of quality. They look like one of the big companies put them out. The paint apps are stunning. I can’t believe they were able to reproduce Matthew LeCroy camo paint schemes. It looks like the fixes to the molds are all in place except one concern. When you push the heads forward, the pop back into the upright position. I put a head and neck into a vintage outback figure and it worked fine. I think I have an idea what’s going on and I’m going to try it tonight when I get home from work. Terry and I did a test for the live and I wasn’t able to connect, so we need to figure that out still. In the meantime, I’m going to take a small video and pictures to update everyone. I’ll start on that tonight and post my progress.
Just got tracking from the factory. Samples from the improved molds and paint samples are on the way via Fedex to my house. This has been a long stressful process and we appreciate everyone’s patience. Fingers crossed that all the issue have been finally addressed. I don’t have an ETA but would assume that I will be able to post an update with pictures sometime in the next 5-7 days. Hopefully all the issues are corrected, and we can move to production now. More to come soon.
Some of the issues being addressed.
Loose fit in some of the joints. All joints in molds checked and adjusted to ensure tight fit. Mold change.
Open hands not holding weapons well. Mold change.
Hands not being easily removed and swapped out. Material change to more flexible material on hands.
Open hands being rigid (fear of broken thumbs). Material change to more flexible material on hands.
Two few backpacks don’t stay in back. Mold change.
Heads not easily removable from neck post. Material change for heads.
Kanstruct weapons: a few of these don’t stay in place tightly in the arm cuff. Mold changes.
Neck movement is loose on a few of the figures. Mold changes.
Nomad torso: strap details left off of torso. Mold change.
Android arm kits: arms don’t stay together at elbow and some attachments have poor fitment. Mold changes.
